<p>For every Spanish verb, the <strong>vosotros (affirmative) imperative</strong> form is formed by <strong>replacing the R</strong> at the end of the infinitive <strong>with a D</strong>. However, the D disappears if the verb is reflexive and the <strong style="font-style: italic;">os</strong> reflexive pronoun replaces it:</p>
<p>We have to add this accent because when a weak vowel (I or U) combines with another vowel, they form one sound within the same syllable. We can <strong>keep the stress on the letter I</strong> by putting an accent on it.</p>
